Durable Design

This client’s kitchen has been well loved from the very start – having been the center of this family’s home for more than a decade, this kitchen was ready for some attention!

Our client’s main goal for this kitchen renovation was to update the space, adjust the layout and the top tier concern, making sure what was going in would be as durable and long lasting as possible. As you can see from the before pictures, there was ample space in this kitchen and dining room to add a significant amount of storage, which allowed us to really customize and tailor the cabinets to our clients’ exact needs.

To do this, we relocated the fridge and pantry, we added a coffee bar and charging station on the previously empty wall, adding drawers, cabinets and floating shelves to maximize storage. We also designed and built custom pantries with space for both the microwave and fridge, increasing both storage and countertop space! We also added hidden pull-out spice racks on either side of the range, adding function without taking away from the sleek and minimalist design. Overall, we more than doubled the available storage space in this kitchen, making it much better suited to our client’s needs!

To update this kitchen, we replaced the Corian countertops with a gorgeous honed finish quartz and continued it up the wall for a full backsplash.  This is both visually stunning and makes clean up in this space a breeze. We also replaced their dated cabinet doors with custom raised panel shaker doors and a gorgeous carbon gray stain finish done in-house. We also replaced their fluorescent lighting with recessed lighting which is always a necessary upgrade in any remodeled kitchen
