Classic Elegance
This 1940s home was full of personality and detail, but the bathroom was very clearly clashing with the rest of the house!
1940s Bathroom Remodel: Classic Elegance Meets Modern Functionality
This charming 1940s home exuded character and unique details, but its bathroom was a stark contrast to the rest of the house. The homeowner sought a classic, elegant design while aiming to open up the space. To achieve this, we reimagined the bathroom layout, making better use of the available space and enhancing its overall flow.
We refreshed the color palette to create a more cohesive look and replaced the outdated tile floors with a sophisticated 1×1 marble hex tile, adding timeless appeal. For the shower area, we selected the Cloe Tile Series from Bedrosians. The combination of classic design and intriguing texture adds a modern twist while maintaining the home’s vintage charm.
A standout feature of the remodel is the custom drop in bath. The homeowner wanted something special, so we installed a drop-in tub surrounded by shaker panels and a marble top, creating an elegant focal point.
The true stars of the bathroom remodel are the Perrin & Rowe Edwardian-style fixtures. These beautiful, solid brass tub filler and shower system pieces offer both durability and luxurious aesthetics, perfect for lasting elegance.
With thoughtful design, quality materials, and attention to detail, this bathroom remodel brings classic elegance and modern functionality to life.
